A few conversations back, my mother asked me what I was looking forward to at Christmas. And I didn't have an answer. Which is not good. Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing my family, but most of them I saw at the end of October. Maaaaybe I'm looking forward to doing some crafting with the mommalah. Except this means that I need to pack all my craft things and bring them with me in my tiny, carry-on sized suitcase along with lots of clothing layers because we'll be in crazy winter wonderland. So, yeah, I need some inspiration here. That or an attitude adjustment.
What are you looking forward to this holiday season?

I'm looking forward to hanging out with the family, being away from work and "on vacation", giving gifts, playing cards and eating a ton!
I am dying to go sledding with the nieces!! And I'm looking forward to long, teary breakfast table conversations with mom. Hmmm. I love those (even more than sledding and I really like sledding).
Both of my kids will be coming home too and I love getting all the old decorations out that they only see once a year. They are both single so they just don't bother with decorations in their apartments. I will be be making the traditional ham dinner we always have and of course giving them their gifts. Sounds kind of boring when I just type it out but I am always so happy when they are both here together. Hope you have a great visit too!! Kathy in Des Moines
